Alana     Silas was acting so differently this time around, but I couldn’t bring myself to believe he had changed in that short amount of time.  I might have been more willing to believe him, if he hadn’t killed the love of my life and forced me to watch it happen.  Every time I looked at Silas’ face, that memory haunted my mind, making me want to claw Silas’ eyes out.       I didn’t expect him to never show his frustration, but I was determined to shield my cub from his raft as much as possible.  That’s why I took little Jax and went back to the spare bedroom after Silas slammed his hand on the table.     As soon as the door was locked, I set Jax down on the floor, then I slid down the door and joined him on the floor.  No longer could I hold back the tears of total devastation.  I tho
