Alana     As I walked toward Silas with Jax crying on my shoulder, a small set of arms wrapped around my leg, forcing me to stop.  “Please, don’t take my Jax away from me again,” the sweetest little voice begged, making my heart ache, as I tried to make sense of what was happening.     “Alana, you should let the cubs play while we talk about this,” my mum calmly suggested.     I sighed with apprehension before mumbling to Jax, “If I put you down to play, you have to stay right here in the front yard where I can see you.  Okay?”     Jax lifted his head and looked at me with big fat tears rolling down his chubby cheeks.  I watched a smile stretch across his face and excitement come back into his eyes, then he agreed, “Okay, mumma.  Thank you.”     After pecking a kiss on his wet cheek,
