Roger’s POV
Of course, she came here after we both asked her to stay home. I turned to see my mother, Regina, and Sasha quickly walking towards us. Why are they even here?
“I told you to stay home, so did Dad. You need to leave immediately. You are not wanted here and you will only cause more problems,” I hissed out.
“Nonsense, I wouldn’t miss getting to see my son get married,” my mother said as she handed the invitation over to the security guard.
“I'm sorry, this is the old invitation. You cannot enter without the new invitation,” he replied. He turned and nodded at one of the men at the top of the stairs. That can’t be good.
Someone spoke to him in his earpiece, and he replied, “I believe the Cook family has arrived.” I know for sure that it isn’t going to be good.
