Roger’s POV
I can’t seem to get in touch with Elizabeth. I’ve tried for over a week, but I can’t find her anywhere. Our wedding is less than a week away, and she’s a runaway bride. No one outside my family and friends will even help me look for her. My mother is very happy. She plans on going to the wedding venue and shaming Elizabeth either way. Humiliating her if she shows up, and mocking her for demanding I marry her. I know Mom, she’s not going to allow the wedding to pass without trying to hurt Elizabeth as much as she can.
