Ryder’s P.O.V
It had been a couple of days since Ivy and I agreed to become exclusive, it has been working well. Ellie had been trying it on at work but for the first time in my life I managed to tell her no and actual mean it. I was not gonna hurt Ivy that way, not over Ellie of all people. Tonight I was gonna see if I can get Ivy to go on an actual date with me…a real, proper date not a pretend one…an actual date. That night I said all those things to her? I never planned it but it all sort of came out and I found myself meaning every word of it. Things have changed between us, neither of us can deny that, we are more than best friends and have been for longer than I think any of us have realized.
I headed home after work, Ivy should be home too, I am sure she finished college early
