“Come on Ivy only a couple of more pushes sweetie.” The midwife said
Since Ivy’s waters broke things had been moving fast, faster than any of us were expected, she had been in labour for only a few hours and our baby boy was nearly here.
“I can’t…it hurts too much.” She cried out
“You got this Ace…I am right here beautiful.” I said as I held her hand tightly
She was doing so well…I was so proud of her. Ivy nodded, taking a few deep breaths, and started pushing again, crying out as she did. I can only imagine what she is feeling right now but we both knew it would be worth it once Ashton gets here. I still can’t believe he decided to come on our wedding day? At least he waited until we were actually married but at least we have a good story to tell him when he is old
