I still can't believe the unbelievably kind gesture Damon made to make my home feel safe again. He didn't have to do that, it would have been easier just to go back to his place, but he knows I value being independent. I don't know if Damon and I will be together in the long run, but I do know that I am going to cherish every moment we have together. What started out as something just physical has been growing into something so much more.
We have spent the passed two nights in my apartment and surprisingly I have slept a little better. I did still have some nightmares, but I didn't wake up screaming.
