After the hospital, I took Simone back to my place and forced her to take a nap. She'd been up all night. She'd insisted that she was fine, but I didn't believe her. She'd been through hell, and I wasn't letting her ignore what her body needed.
When she woke up, though, it was clear that what her body needed was me.
