(Maya POV)
We walked out of the house with my hand interlocked with his. He had a smile plastered on his face as we made way to his car.
He opened the door for me and I quickly muttered a thank you before getting in.
"I’m so glad you agreed for this. Thank you for giving me a chance." he said as I nodded my head.
"Before we start this date I have one request" I said to which he readily agreed.
"We need to visit Edwards’s house" I said as his face fell.
"Why? Didn’t you have a lunch date with him? Why do you want to see him now? I’m your mate and you spend time with him more than me" he asked his voice suddenly changing. His knuckles were white as it tightened around the steering wheel.
