"You ready, Maya?" I heard a voice as I turned back to face the Elder leaning on the wall with a smile.
I nodded my head to which she turned and walked to the kitchen after indicating me to follow.
"We will talk somewhere else" she said from the kitchen. I ran to the kitchen and found her walking out through the back door, straight to the training ground.
"Where are we going? I thought Railey said not to go out the perimeters" I said huffing and catching up with her.
"Your Alpha is not the boss of me, child. Besides I assure you, as long as you are with me nobody will hurt you" she said giving me a smile. My heart skipped a beat and strangely I felt myself believing her whole heartedly.
