(Maya POV)
"She is late" Roe mumbled as she looked at the clock.
We have been waiting for almost 3 hours and there is still no sign of her. We tried calling her but somehow the connection keeps failing.
"I will make some coffee for you all" Naomi said as she stood up.
"I'll come too" I said making her tense.
She turned and looked at me before slowly nodding.
Ever since morning Naomi has being avoiding my gaze. Not only her but Railey also. They always tense when I talk to them and tries to avoid me using lame excuses.
This is the chance to ask her what is wrong.
"There is cookie in the shelves. Put them in a plate" she said as I nodded and did as she told.
I kept sneaking glances at her and I know by the stiffness of her shoulder, she was still tensed around me.
