(Edward POV)
"Thank you for coming to my niece’s birthday. And for staying overnight" I said shyly scratching my neck.
"Well it can’t be helped. Your niece's puppy dog eyes are too cute to be ignored. Besides I love her company and I enjoyed my stay" Jason said as we walked to the nearest bus stop.
Suddenly I froze as I felt the smell of rogue filling the air. I looked around alert, trying to pinpoint the location but the smell was scattered everywhere.
"Is something wrong?" Jason asked making me give him a smile.
A fake but perfected smile.
"Of course not. But we should go fast. I just remembered I forgot to do something" I said as he nodded confused.
We speed walked to the bus stop and giving him a quick wave I ran back. Once out of his sight I changed my direction to the forest.
