Eva The moment I heard the door shut behind me, I knew he was back. My gaze remained on the television as his footsteps approached before I felt a set of arms wrap around my shoulders. “Good evening my love,” he groaned against my neck, the slight vibrations mustered a smile from me despite my mood. “You don't sound like it,” I quipped lightly, noting his weary voice.
