Cora was away meeting her sister today for lunch, something she was happy about, maybe her sister could talk to her parents for her cause it was hurting that her parents never wanted anything to do with her I could see that even if she did try to hide it from me. I took her being away as a opportunity to go see my Aunt Kate, I needed her help with something…advise. I was heading to hers for lunch. I knocked the door, walking in
“Hey Aunt Kate…it is Colton.” I called out
“Kitchen sweetie.” She called back
I headed through the house, reaching the kitchen where Kate was in the middle of making us lunch…cheese and ham omelette…my favourite she makes a mean omelette.
“You wanna get plates and cutlery out please…there is also fresh Ice tea in the fridge.” She smiled
