The murder of Commander Horsson would not go undiscovered for more than a couple of hours. If Jade and Fastal were to escape from Haldek alive, she would have to do something to keep their crime from becoming public knowledge too quickly. The Commancor field generator was about fifty meters away, not even in a tent of its own.
