While watching a movie is distracting for a little while, it all comes crashing right back down the moment Arora’s phone starts to ring.
“Aren’t you going to answer?”
“No.”
“Okay, mind telling me who it was?”
“Your mother.”
*A couple of minutes later*
“I take it you plan on ignoring my mother for the rest of the day.”
“No, that wasn’t her.”
“Who was it then?”
“My father.”
*A couple of minutes later, the phone rings again*
“Arora, maybe you should answer. It could be important.”
“No.”
Arora looks at the screen and sees that she has a missed call from Violet. Jumping out of bed, she immediately dials her number.
