Tricia is elated when she hears that a new baby will soon join the rest of her beautiful horses, but she is too tired to go outside and check on her mare. Once Carl is gone, an awkward silence falls between Kozor and Tricia.
She didn’t even think about the fact that she immediately turned her attention to Carl and stopped Kozor mid-discussion.
“I’m sorry, I should have told him we were in the middle of something.” Tricia awkwardly tried to start the conversation.
“There is no need to apologize.” Kozor looks almost shy all of a sudden. “I know how much you wanted to know about the mare.”
