I spent the next few days writing new songs. I also created the guitar melodies for each of the five new songs I wrote. Two of the songs were duets that Zach and I would sing together in both music genres. Whereas, two of them were for my next rock album, and one of them was for my next country album.
On Thursday, I invited Dexter, Skylar and Leo to join us for dinner, so I could play the new songs for them. Of course I went through the duets with Zach on Wednesday night, so he would be able to sing them with me.
While he was at work, I put together a big pot of chili and let it simmer at the lowest temperature setting. Zach tried to talk me out of cooking, but I insisted. He was so worried about me being up cooking, that he left work a little early, just to make sure
