Louis's POV
"Wait! Louis! Kitty isn't my daughter! She's Liam's child!"
My hand trembled violently upon hearing Evans shout.
"I'm willing to swear as the Alpha of the Black Mountain pack, Your Highness!" Evans' dark eyes even showed a hint of pleading. He struggled to support himself, dragging his crippled legs to me, attempting to persuade me to spare Kitty.
"Everything I just said is true! Kitty isn't my child, she's Liam's biological daughter!"
"If there's one lesson Liam's death taught me, it's never to believe a single word that comes out of your mouth, Garfield Evans."
I still gripped Kitty's collar, holding her like a little chick in my arms.
"Every word you say to me is a lie. Perhaps you should confess all your sins to me."
