Kendra POV Everybody held their breath as they looked at each other. Their backs straightened even more, as if lightning struck their butts. The moment of silence was the biggest giveaway of their secrecy and, probably, betrayal. “Come on. I know something is happening around here. You are not exactly the greatest at hiding secrets, and I am not that gullible to believe your excuses,” I said as I crossed my arms in front of me.
