(Vaughn) Thursday night came quicker than expected and I arrived before eight. I was standing outside Emily's apartment. It was a nice place. Nothing fancy. But nice enough. My shift started at ten tonight. I didn't have much time. But I needed to be here. I needed to see what else Emily could tell me. I checked my phone. Seven fifty. I walked up to the entrance and pressed the buzzer for apartment 304. "Hello?" Emily's voice came through the speaker. "It's Vaughn." "Come on up." The door clicked and I went inside.
