They arrived at the parking lot of the city hospital and Maxton hung back reluctant to come out of the car. His mind is being overwhelmed by the horrors he faced the last time he was hereafter his accident.
His breathing elevated and his heart rate fastened. He closed his eyes and leaned back to his seat trying to compose himself.
" Are you coming son? " Dave asked as he saw his daughter's boyfriend still in the car.
Ashley and her mother also turned to give Maxton a questioning look.
" Give me a minute I will join you guys, " Maxton muttered softly.
Dave gave the young man one more look to be sure he really was okay before he continued.
