Ashley was alone in the house and her mind is going crazy with boredom. She was on her bed in her bedroom staring at the ceiling and counting the number of squares in them.
Her boss left early in the morning to a work meeting leaving her alone with only the walls for company and they aren't much of a talkative.
She imagined the walls actually talking to her and chuckled at how freaky and scary that will be if the walls suddenly started talking.
The useless thoughts occupying her mind is as a result of her boredom which she had tried breaking with watching TV shows but had quickly lost interest because her best friend is not there to screen at the TV or Mansplain the plots to her as if she is redundant with no idea of what they are showing.
