As we drove, my mind raced with everything that had led us to this point. The lies. The manipulation. The pain she’d caused—not just to me, but to Isabella, to Jensen, to everyone who’d ever crossed her path.
And now, it was time for her to face the consequences. Kathy soon realized where we were going.
“Why are we going to the council? Are you going to fight for the child’s custody?” she asked with disgust.
It was getting harder and harder for her to keep pretending to stand me. Now, it was clear to me that all she wanted was the Luna status, and now that I couldn’t give it to her, she couldn’t stand me anymore.
“No, Kathy, I already signed the divorce papers; Jensen and Isabella won’t be in our lives anymore.”
