"You are doing wonderfully!" Lysandra praised this time. I finally got a handle on how the compel worked.
I didn't get tired as usual, but I got a feeling this wasn't the last step in my training.
"Now, you need to compel a vampire," she stated.
"Isn't it the same?" I asked, and she shook her head.
"No, a vampire's mind is harder to compel. We know how to do it, so we are immune; if you can compel me, then we can say I have taught you everything I could."
