Isabella's POV
The moment Liam called the meeting to order, the room fell into silence.
"Welcome, everyone, to my pack; I know all of you are wondering why I called for this meeting today," Liam began with his Alpha aura. "I know you all felt the connection with a member of our pack, and I am sure you are wondering why."
The Elders nodded. "My mate, Isabella Salvadori, had a son before our mateship. Many of you already know this, but I accepted Jensen as my own pup and recognized him as such during our wedding ceremony. However, he is the biological son of Jared Cain, the previous Alpha of Silver Lake Pack."
Some Elders started whispering. Many wondered how Alpha could accept another pup as his, while others made nasty comments about me. I was glad Liam couldn't hear them. They were
