Isabella’s POV Last night I couldn’t sleep. I kept tossing and turning. I knew Jared was planning something; he was not the kind of man who left things to chance. Liam had been so calm, so confident, but I knew him well enough to see the tension in his shoulders, the way his jaw tightened when he thought I wasn’t looking. He was putting on a brave face for me, for Jensen, for the pack, but I could see the weight of it all pressing down on him.
