Liam’s POV Isabella lay there, pale, too still, her chest unmoving. Blood soaked the sheets beneath her, her torn stomach still glistening under the harsh clinic lights. But I refused to believe this was the end. I grabbed her face, my thumbs brushing her cold cheeks. "Bella," I whispered, my voice cracking. "You promised." Silence. Then— A flicker. A pulse.
