Isabella’s POV
“You are being hypocritical,” Tammie huffed as we looked at Liam’s pleading look.
“I know, but—”
“No buts, Bella. You know you are keeping secrets from him,” Tammie scolded me.
“I am, but those secrets don’t affect him. They are not about a mate or something like that,” I justified myself, but Tammie was not on my side this time.
“And? They are still secrets; you can’t ask someone to be truthful to you if you are not truthful to them,” Tammie countered. I knew she was right, but… it wasn’t that simple.
I was not ready to share every detail of my life, and I didn’t expect Liam to do that either, I just wished he had been more honest with me about Kathy, that’s all.
“He doesn’t need to know,” I argued internally. But Tammie’s huff of disapproval echoed in my mind.
