Alyssa I stirred in my sleep feeling a strange sense of warmth, my head wasn't pounding as much as it was before but I was still so tired. I felt a hard surface beneath my cheek It was comfortable and it moved in a slow steady rhythm I couldn’t fight the urge to nuzzled closer breathing in a familiar clean scent. I peaked my eyes open the room was still dim but I could see enough. My head was resting not on a pillow but on a firm broad chest. I looked up my eyes tracing the strong line of a jaw the curve of a mouth I knew too well. I can’t believe he stayed even after I had asked him to leave that I’d be alright, a warm feeling spread through my chest pushing away some of the chill from my fever. He was sitting up against my headboard and I was curled up on his lap tucked again
