The car pulled up to the big hotel where the ceremony was being held as soon as the door opened the noise hit me.
Flashing lights.
Shouting voices.
A wall of paparazzi.
It made my stomach twist, I wasn’t used to this sort of attention and it was going to take a while before I get accustomed.

I froze for a second blinded by the lights but Ares strong arm wrapped firmly around my waist, he pulled me close tucking me against his side using his own body to shield me from the worst of the crowd to which I was greatful for.
