After I walked out on Cassandra at the pool, I went back to my study and poured myself a drink. I don't know what came over me that I suddenly wanted to be left alone. I know I have been unfair to her, but I was hoping she would understand.
Her behavior today pisses me off. She knows very well that I am a jealous guy. I don't want to share, and I don't want men to feast their eyes on my woman. She provoked me and acted immaturely. I'll stay clear from her for today and let her do whatever she wants.
I have too much to think about right now, and I don't want to stress out on petty things. I downed two glasses of whiskey before settling down on the couch. Arturo walked in and looked at me in amusement.
