After Uncle John's and Aunt Suzanne's visit, I went back to my private room and called my mom and sister to inform them that Papa is awake. They were both ecstatic and said they're coming over right now.
Next, I called Samuel. He is at his father's wake, and friends and families are arriving slowly, he said. I told him not to worry about me because mamu and Maria are on their way here. I was thinking of joining him later at the funeral home when Mamu and Maria arrived.
Since I am okay now, I also told him I would ask the doctor to let Papa use my room. That way, we don't have to register again and use another room. This room is enormous, with two beds and a sofa. Mamu and Maria would be comfortable here while looking after Papa.
