I was waiting for Samuel's call impatiently. It has been two hours since he left, but he hasn't called yet. My mom and Maria are busy talking with Papa while I am lying in the spare bed. I pretended to be dizzy so that they won't notice that I am feeling nervous.
I need to hear Samuel's voice so that I would be able to breathe easily. I rubbed my still flat belly and wanted to feel the life we made inside of me.
" Amelia, do you want to eat anything, hon? Or water?" My mother came towards me and held my hand.
" No, I'm good, Mamu. I had a big lunch with Samuel a while ago, so I'm still full. I'm just going to lie down for a while and rest. I feel a little dizzy and nauseous, but I am okay." I lied to her. She looked like she believes me because she looked worried.
