DAMIEN’S POV
I woke up feeling very happy, I was happy because not only had I found my mate but I had also been able to spend some proper time with her for the first time since we met. I couldn’t even believe that we were walking around and acting like we were having a forbidden affair. I loved Elena and I couldn’t imagine my life without her now that I had found her, I didn’t remember anything about my life still and I didn’t know if I had any family out there but for now Elena was the only family I had and I had every intention of fighting from her. I knew that Lukas wouldn’t just have her over to me, he was obsessed with her and would probably kill me and her rather than give her over to me.
