THE EXIT...FINALLY

676 Words
All three sat down thinking the connection of this new piece of puzzle. It was a long time until they finally figured it out. ( Don't expect me to spill the beans; Use your brains to see the connection my lovely readers). According to the sentence Grendale came and stood in front of the statue. Facing the statue Grendale held up his hands and conjured a magic bolt. He drew back his hands, aimed for the center of the crystal and threw it with full force.  SMASH!!!!.. The magic bolt slammed into the crystal with a bang. But golly what's this? Instead of getting blown into millions, the crystal neatly absorbed the bolt into itself and started glowing as brightly as the ring stone had glowed when he first touched it. The cave started shuddering violently. Stalactites and rocks clinging to the ceiling started falling everywhere. All three ran for cover, but just then a huge part of the ceiling broke and fell right in-front of them blocking their exit. A long sound of cracking drew their attention to the ceiling. Their eyes widened with fear when they saw a huge stone breaking away from the ceiling right above their heads. Rocks were falling everywhere, there was nowhere to run.  *cripple* *cripple* The stone slipped from the ceiling and came smashing down on them. " Is this how it will end? Will i never save my world, my home? Will i never get to see old age?" Despite Grendale's best efforts such thoughts ran through his mind seeing death zooming upon towards them. Grendale couldn't see anymore and ducked closing his eyes." AAAAAAHHHH!!!!...."  ........ ... "Wait a second. Is it over? Am i dead? If this is death then wow, i never felt it coming." Grendale was shook hard from the shoulders. He refused to open his eyes. Then he felt a sharp pain in his arms like someone pinched him hard. " OUCH! THAT HURTS" Screamed Grendale. He snapped open his eyes to see the prince leaning upon him and shaking him awake. " Wake up. Wake up man. Look we are saved." At first due to shock of near death Grendale couldn't grasp on what the prince was trying to say. Slowly his senses came back to him and he took note of his surroundings. The golem had jumped in between them and the smashing stone and had stopped it. Although the stone looked heavy as hell but this is a ' stone-golem' we are taking about ya'll. Goltimer heaved the heavy stone away from them and breathed heavily. By this time the falling had stopped and there were only stone debris everywhere. Climbing on to their feet Grendale and the prince cautiously watching their steps crossed over to the statue again. Golly. What do they see? In place of the statue only a big pile of broken rocks were scattered with the blue crystal glowing faintly hidden partially in it. But that's not what actually drew their attention. The best part that actually drew their attention and made their eyes go wider was a huge gaping hole in the wall almost like a cave. " So this is where th'exit was? God. No wonder this cave is perfect for throwing our enemies into. No one can escape without finding this cave, cracking th'puzzle and help from magic." exclaimed the prince in admiration. The hole was a little small for the golem considering how atrociously big he was and hence he had to crawl in but the other two passed through easily. The exit went on a little lengthy but very soon they were able to see light a little far ahead. Excitement building up inside them on finally escaping the suffocating cave all three had an un-erasable smiles on their faces. Well the cave escape went well but there are even way more obstacles to overcome in their journey. Are the trio up for the upcoming challenges? Will each of them succeed in their missions? Find out in the next episode. Stay tuned.
