THE SWORD OF MAGE-BLADE

As soon as Grendale got up the next morning he quickly went to the mayor's house. Fortunately the healer girl was also there talking about a new herb. As soon as Grendale narrated the whole dream to them they were speechless for a moment.

Then the mayor slowly spoke, " Yes, I think now it's time that you fulfill your destiny. But before you go, I have something for you". Saying thus the mayor went to the mantle piece and moved a mini statue. A wall near the mantle piece cupboard moved and a hidden room came to view.

He asked Grendale to come with him and went inside. Once inside the mayor light the wall torches and guided him to a painting on a far wall. It was the painting made by shifu in remembrance of the mystic sword of MAGE-BLADE.

Showing the sword he said, " This is the legendary sword of MAGE-BLADE. It is said to contain unbelievable powers. This is the only sword that can help you defeat the king of chaos and his darkness. But it's whereabouts are known only to the descendent of Magnamus, the first king of light. I have heard that his descendent lives in the capital city of Florenum. You must go to him and obtain the sword of MAGE-BLADE. You are the only hope left now. "

The mayor then gave him a steel sword and said," Take this sword with you. It's highly dangerous out there. But don't worry. You can protect yourself with this sword which shifu had crafted. On your journey you'll come across many magical swords like the thorn, the needle and the sword of the undeads. Take them. Each of them is more in power than the previous. All the best ".

Grendale promised that he will never quit and will come back only after he defeated the darkness. On his way out the healer gave him a bag of coins and 2 health potions to revive himself instantly in case he got too injured.

Grendale came to the border gates of inamorta. The guards there knew the warrior and waved him goodbye on his way out. Thus Grendale's journey began.

He crossed the mountains and came to the edge of the evergreen forest. This forest once contained many magical creatures like the jade spiders who's webs were used to make silky smooth cloths, one horned porcupines, carnivores Venus flytraps ( which could grow up to 15 feet and we're gentle plants unless hungry) and many more... but from the time shifu disappeared the darkness had fell everywhere including the forests and everything became evil.

Taking a deep breath Grendale entered the forest.
