Addison POV
"Why did he leave near my office gate if he had to protect me?", I felt that was strange.
I headed towards my boss, he looked towards me, "you are late Miss Addison, we were waiting for you, I thought you would not show up today", he said while looking into his watch while he was talking to me.
"I am so sorry sir, this won't happen again!!", I apologised.
"I hope so Miss Addison '', he said.
Mathew took a few steps towards me, "the boss was very angry with you, he thought that you might not come for the trip", he whispered in my ears.
"I got late, I hope he understood", I whispered back.
"Don't worry his mood is fine now, this trip is kept for the boss, just to change his mood after what happened during the award function".
"I hope he gets well after the trip", I said.
