He Can move on Again

Jared POV

Anna and Sara wanted to keep a prayer

It's impossible for Addison to be alive.

I felt the stranger who came to ask Christof for help fishy, I didn't feel him right, I told Christof to stay away from him and to stay alert, but I don't know if Christof will listen to me, so I have to take matters in my own hands, I have to make sure that this boy Carlos stay away from Christof, it would be better for him and for his own good and safety, I cannot trust anyone after what happened 10 months ago, I need to be more careful for Christof, because anyone can harm him again and he won't defend himself, to keep Christof safe I need to keep a watch on him, after Carlos leaving christof's reaction was a bit different, he seemed happy, I tried to ask him about Carlos but Christof didn't tell me much about him he just told me that Carlos wanted some money as his mother needed treatment, and she was sick, I couldn't trust that Carlos that easily, after leaving from christof's room I called one of my men.

"I want you to find out everything about this man Carlos who came to meet Christof today, I want every information which is related to him, his background history about his family, his job, I want to know everything, I also want to know if his mother is sick, and if she is, in which hospital is she admitted in, I want to know everything, I am giving you one day time", I said.

"Okay sir, I will find out everything about the guy Carlos, don't worry it will just take 19 hours for me to find out about that guy Carlos", he replied back.

"You will get your reward after the work is done", I replied.

"Okay sir", he replied back.

I cut the call and drove to my place.

On my way I brought pizza and a few drinks which I would have along with Anna.

I reached home after an hour, my wife greeted me near the door, she gave a tight hug and we kissed on the lips.

"Did you miss me?", I said.

"Yes I missed you so much, what took you so long Jary?", she asked me.

"You know I have to take care of Christof,after Addison's death he is devastated, today he left his room, and he also joined us all for work, I hired a new secretary for him", I replied.

Anna handed a glass of water.

You must be thirsty, sit and have your water and then tell me everything, about what you did today,and about Christof.

I drank the water and I placed the glass on the table.

"Today Christof left his room, I am happy that he changed his mind, and he started working", I replied.

"That is good, at least he won't think much about the past, he might move on", she replied.

"Hope so Anna Christof moves on, and he marries again, his mom is searching for a perfect girl for him, and I know that his mom will find one for him, that will help him to move on and he will be able to forget about Addison", I replied.

"Are you serious Jared!!", She said with a loud voice.

"Why what happened anna?, why are you getting angry?, what did I say?Did I say anything wrong?", I asked her.

"Jared you should know what you just said", she replied.

"I know anna, what I just said, but I didn't say anything wrong", I replied.

"It has just been 10 months for Addison's death, how can you think of Christof getting married again, it would be so difficult for him, i know he has to move on, but why you want him to get married, people can move on after their wife or husband's death without getting married again, and I know christof very well he will never agree to marry anyone else he loves Addison, and he will never give her place to anyone else. I can understand about his mom, she hates Addison now, and she wants to make Christof married again so that he can forget about her, but I didn't expect this from you Jared", she replied back.

"Let me tell you one thing, Addison was your best friend not mine, and I care about Christof more than Addison, and she is dead now, but my friend is alive anna, and we need to care about the person who is alive more than the person who is dead, the dead is gone they won't come back, but we can protect the person who is alive, you are not trying to understand anna, if Christof doesn't move on he can lose his life, and I wouldn't let that happen, I will do whatever it takes to keep my friend safe and alive, even if he has to get married again I will help his mom, in this situation I feel that Christof's mom is right, and she is doing the right thing to keep her son happy", I replied.

"I am sorry jared, but you can't do this you can keep Christof happy, but it doesn't mean that he will be happy if you try to make him married to someone else, he will never be happy, on top of that the girl who will marry him, her life will be ruined because she won't get the love that she deserves, because I know christof he won't love any other girl again, and you and his mom needs to understand this", she replied.

"If Christof can move on from his previous heartbreak he can move on from this one too, if you don't know let me tell you, Christof's ex dumped him for Nolan, who is his enemy, he went through a heartbreak, he didn't date anyone for few years but later Addison came into his life, he fell in love again, so there is a chance for Christof, if he could fall in love again, then why not now I know it will take some time, but there are chances for Christof", I replied.

"Yes you are right Jared, Christof had a heart break because of his ex and he fell in love again with Addison, do you know what is the difference between both of them?", She asked me.

"What is the difference between them, there is no difference", I replied.

"How can you not see the difference?, Mr love expert, the difference is that, his ex dumped him, she never loved him, it was just one sided love, his ex never cared for him, she only wanted his money, so when she got someone more richer than him, and more competitive so she left him, and she started dating Nolan, but I'm Addison's case, she loved him unconditionally cared for him protected him, she brought happiness in his life and this was not one sided love, this was unconditional love, Christof got love from Addison and not from his ex, and his ex left him but Addison didn't because she died because of someone else and it was Christof's fault in this, he didn't protect his wife because of that Nolan kidnapped her and then threw her from the cliff, so it's obvious that it will be impossible for him to move on or marry someone else, so please don't speak rubbish with me Jared, and Don't you dare force Christof to marry again, or else there else it will affect our relationship, I don't want you to help Christof's mom, because his mom hates Addison, and she will obviously want her son to forget about Addison, but this was not Addison's mistake", she replied.

"Anna u don't want this to affect our relationship, you know that I love you so much, and I wouldn't not like anything to affect our relationship, I might not be able to live without you", I replied.

"The same goes with Christof, Jared, he loved his wife so much, how can he be able to live without her, if you cannot live without me, think what is Christof going through, Jared you will lose your best friend if you go on with this same thinking, and I would not like this to happen, you both were childhood friends, it would be really bad if it would affect your friendship, please try to understand Christof, Don't make him sad, he is already very sad", she replied.

"Yes you are right anna, it's my mistake I kept on forcing Christof to marry again and move one, he kept on telling me that he was not ready to move on, but I told him that he had to try, he asked me the same question that you asked me anna, but I told him that I would move on, but now I know it's not easy to move on, I would die without you anna", I replied.

"Yeah Jared, but you need to support your friend, it's his life, let him do whatever he wants with his life, but just try to make him happy, don't let him feel left out, and most importantly, don't make him feel that no one understands him, if there is no who understands himz you try to understand make him feel that you are there for him", she replied.

"Christof stopped sharing things with me, he is hiding things, when I tried to ask him, he didn't tell me anything", I said to anna.

"That is because Jared you are now not close to him so he feels that you will never understand what is feeling, how will he share things with you, when you will never understand him, so that's why he will not be able to share anything", she replied.

"What should I do anna? Christof's starts telling me everything about himself and he stops hiding things from me, how should I make him trust me again?", I asked her.

"You don't need to do anything for that Jared, just be with your friend, make him know that you are there for him, and don't make him feel left out, in that way you can protect him and care for him", she replied.

"Yeah you are right, I am not going to force him for anything, after all it's his life, I will try my best to keep him happy", I replied.

"That's really good Jared, I told you to ask Christof something, did you ask him?", Anna asked me.

"Yes I asked him about that, but he refused. He said that Addison is still alive, there is no need for any memorial service for her", I replied.

"It's been 10 months since Addison's death, and Addison has still not got a prayer service for a soul,Jared she needs it, so that her soul can get peace, try to convince Christof for this Jared '', she replied.

"It's useless anna because I know that he won't agree, and he will argue with me, and I don't want our friendship to break, he told me that he only cares for Addison, and he will only take all her decision, he told me not interfere in his matters, so I won't, and it would be better for you not to ask Christof about this", I replied.
