The following Thursday was Thanksgiving day. We ended up going over to my parents’ home the night before and we decided to stay the night with them to prepare for the meal in the morning. It was so nice when we pulled into the driveway and I could see my dad outside pulling the Christmas decorations out of the storage building on the right side of the house.
