That was one of the hardest shifts I have worked since I started working at the prison two weeks ago. I sigh as I walk out of the prison by myself. I shake my head slowly as I pull my keys out of my backpack and head towards my car. I look around the dark parking lot to keep myself aware of my surroundings as I step quickly towards the car. I unlock the car with my press button and open the door. I don’t even bother to try and set my bag down in the seat next to me as I quickly jump into the driver’s seat and close the door of my car behind me. I lock the door and sigh in relief as I know that I am safe inside of my car.
I turn to crank the car and as I do, someone knocks on the window. It scares the total s**t out of me and I jump as I turn and look up into the face of the intruder. I f
