The following week brought along a lot more chaos. Even though the officers couldn’t find Romano, they still wanted us to give them every ounce of information we could on him. I ended up telling them about the stalking and the deaths and everything else that followed after all of those instances. For the most part, they were stunned; how could someone get away with so much stuff? On the other hand, they weren’t surprised in the slightest because they dug up all of his history from the time he was in the USMC until now. Once we were done talking with them, they told us they would stay in touch just to keep us updated on the whole situation… I just didn’t realize how bad the situation was.
