The following morning I woke up to sunlight streaming through the open curtains in our hotel room. I smiled as I felt Nick’s arms wrap tighter around me and pull me into his chest. I wiggle deeper into his embrace and I hear him chuckle low in my ear. “Good morning, baby.” He kisses the back of my neck as I giggle from the sensation of him tickling it.
I yawn and stretch slightly as I roll onto my side and smile. “Good morning… How did you sleep?”
He chuckles as he rubs his nose against mine and I can’t help but smile. “I slept really well next to my future wife. What about you?”
I giggle as I finally feel the weight of the engagement ring on my finger and everything that happened last night comes flooding back into my brain. I smile wide as I turn to look at him with a grin plastere
