My alarm goes off at six A.M. and I groan. “Ugh… Five more minutes…”
I feel Nick wrap his arm tightly around my waist as he pulls me closer to his chest. “We don’t have five more minutes, baby. Today is Thanksgiving, remember?”
I sigh and nod my head slowly. “You’re right…” I stretch and groan as I roll over in his arms to face him. I feel my eyes get overly heavy with how warm he is, but I do my best to stay awake. “Do we really have to be up this early?”
“Yes!” I hear my mom’s voice at the door as she busts it open aggressively. “We still have a lot of work to do and the Parade starts in two hours! Get up! We need you both downstairs ASAP!”
