It took us eight hours to figure out that they were heading to the level one trauma center in the state. I had no idea that what was wrong with Uncle Rick was that bad until we got to the hospital and found his room. They apparently had to do emergency surgery that led to a clean surgical case instead of a sterile surgical case. When they found him, he had severe internal bleeding, a perforated bowel, swelling on his brain, and a compromised airway from the beating he had obtained from my stalker. All in all, the doctors said he was lucky to even be alive right now.
