Chapter 7: Nick

After Josh hung up the phone with Katie on the other end, I rubbed my sore arm from where the bastard hit me a few times. “You know, if we weren’t best friends, I would probably kick your ass.”

Josh scoffs and shakes his head with a huge grin on his face. “If we weren’t best friends, I wouldn’t have to deal with this.” He sighs and continues to shake his head. “I can’t believe that f*****g prick. Why would he go after the brand new nurse like that? What does he gain out of it?”

I scoff and shake my head. “He gains recognition… You realize that the whole f*****g camp already knows she is your sister, right?”

He shakes his head. “How the f**k would they know that?”

I scoff and roll my eyes. “Dude, you two look the f*****g same, you two have the same last f*****g name, and to top it all off the f*****g nurses don’t know how to shut the f**k up. The whole camp has known she was coming in since before she even went to her f*****g orientation. They guy did it for recognition and now he is going to pay the price.”

Josh sighs and shakes his head slowly. “Maybe it was a mistake. Maybe I shouldn’t have helped her get her foot in the door. Maybe it was just too soon for her.”

I scoff and shake my head. “No, she is in the right place. We have known from the get go that she wouldn’t be a good typical nurse. She is too stubborn and too strong willed to make it in the hospital setting. You remember talking to all of those nurses when we sat with these guys in the hospital. They say everything is about the patient satisfaction rating and not about doing the right thing. She is too black and white for her to succeed in the regular world.” I sigh and shake my head. “Besides, she is a nice piece of eye candy for the other officers now.”

He hauls off and punches me in the arm again. I knew it was coming, but damn does he pack a mean punch. “You jackass. You know she is my sister.”

I chuckle and nod my head. “Yeah, I know she is, but that doesn’t mean the others are going to care. You saw Barks this morning. He was trying to wiggle into her pants right off the bat.”

He groans and runs his hands over his face. “Don’t even get me started. f*****g Williams started talking to Barks about her after you took her down to medical today. It took every ounce of my being to not punch him in the f*****g throat when they started talking about all of the nasty s**t they wanted to do to her. f*****g perverted mother fuckers.”

I try not to glower at the thought of those two talking about her, but it is too hard. “You know, we could always tell them she has a boyfriend. I don’t think it would work well, but maybe if we said it was an officer from a different camp it might work.”

Josh shakes his head. “No, if we do that, it might actually make it worse. Those two are just going to say the wrong thing in front of the wrong person and when that happens, they are both going to get sacked.”

“I honestly think Barks is about to get sacked anyway,” I say without thinking.

Josh’s eyes and ears both perk up and he looks at me. “What do you mean? What is going on?”

I sigh as I already know I have said too much. “Well, they think he has been bringing contraband into the camp. They haven’t found anything on his person, but because of him, we are all about to get stripped searched and all of our belongings are about to get searched thoroughly. Including our lockers.”

“f**k… Well, if he gets sacked, that is one less problem we have to worry about. He has also been known to sexually harass the nurses. Why they have kept him around this long, I have no clue.”

I nod my head as I look at the time and realize just how late it actually was. “Well, I think it is time for me to hit the sack. God knows I will struggle to sleep anyway, but I feel like I do better if I just lay in the bed for a little bit first.”

Josh smirks and nods his head. “You’re good, man. I’ll see you in the morning.”

“Yeah,” I nod as I stand and make my way to my bedroom.

I sigh as I close the door firmly in place and I lay down to rest my eyes. As I lay in the bed, my whole mind keeps going back to the events from today. Seeing Katie pinned beneath that bastard. She seemed to be fighting for her life. God, I wish I would have noticed it sooner and prevented it from happening all together. I thought I closed that door and locked it after we got him into the health care unit. I also thought that Williams was going to be right behind me when I brought that guy in, but he wasn’t.

I sigh as I roll onto my side and start trying to get comfortable. I don’t know when I fell asleep, but when I did, I was not expecting the dream I was going to have. I saw Katie standing in front of me. Her pouty lips were soaking wet and swollen and I don’t know why, but I got the sudden urge to kiss her. I can’t help but wonder what she would feel like. Her lips, her hair, and her whole body pressed against mine and me tangling her black, silky hair between my fingers. I feel myself pull her to my body and I feel her place her hands on my chest as she looks up into my eyes. I watch her mouth form words, but I don’t hear them. Instead, I close my eyes and crash my lips to hers. I feel her move against me and I know from how her body is responding that she wants me to keep going. I move my mouth from hers and trail kisses down her jaws to her neck. I feel her head roll back as I leave my mark on her neck and taste every inch of her I can.

What is happening? What is going on?

I don’t care as I keep trailing my kisses down her neck and I grab at the shirt she is wearing. I feel her slip my shirt over my own head and then I feel her place her bare hands against my chest. I love the feeling as she slides them over my chest and shoulders as I slide her shirt over her head too. I go back to her neck and continue to trail father and farther down her neck until I hit her chest.

I want to do this so bad. I have been wondering what it would be like my entire life. How she would feel underneath me as she moans my name. How much I could make her scream as I rock her body with amazing pleasure. I keep imagining myself dumping my hot c*m deep inside of her too. Just the thought brings the need to bury myself deep inside her and I know what I want to do.

I pull away from her neck and brush the hair out of her face as she looks up at me with lust and desire. I want her and I feel that she wants me. Deep down, I know she wants me. She has to. I look at her swollen lips and I watch as she licks them. I know I have seen her do this exact motion a hundred times, but never like this. Never have I seen her lick them out of desire for me. I watch as she inhales deeply and I know she is about to say something when my alarm clock goes off and I sit straight up in the bed.

I pant as I look around my room and I catch my breath. “What the f**k,” I whisper to no one in particular.

I sit there and realize that my d**k is as hard as rock and I know I have to take a cold shower this morning before I go into work.
