Alarick’s POV
All week I have been worrying about LeeAca. I have no clue what is going to happen tomorrow. Garret assures me she will be fine, but I don’t know that for sure. Nobody does. I went to the training field to see that nobody was there.
“Where are you?” I mindlink Garret.
“In the office with Markus going over pack security for the challenge.” Garret answers back.
“Why are you not with LeeAca training?” I ask, getting angry.
“She took today off.” He says nonchalantly. I don’t answer him, I just head back to the castle. I don’t even know where I am going until I am knocking on her door. When she opens it I calm down some. When I make the connection that it is Maleena’s 18th birthday I feel like sh*t. Of course she wants to try and make maleena’s birthday memorable for her. It
