The morning after the opening, James is sitting in his office. He is looking at all the reviews from the food critics, the newspapers, and business news on the television in his new office. The openings were a failure, and James is angry and depressed. He does not realize that he would not be in this mess if he paid more attention to his work. James is blaming everyone but himself in his eyes; he did nothing wrong. Like his mother, he is accusing Isabella, she could have helped him, but she preferred not to. He does not know what he is going to do. He has nothing left. His business is going down the drain fast, and he needs to do something drastic to save it.
