Not one syllable of an apology was offered to her mate, who looked as if death would now be a blessing for him. Her accusation was false, a shield to hide behind. He knew the truth, but because of the hospital guard’s escape towards the Sand Lands of the Dragons, he could not prove her to be a liar in this situation.
