Chapter Fifty-Four.
Tears ran down Eliza’s cheeks as Uki giggled behind her hand. She had, even though her body was protesting wildly about eating the spicy woollybaa, enjoyed the meal. The heat was becoming more than a little troublesome to her, but she was determined not to give up. Mostly because although the heat was burning her mouth, she loved the flavours. The burn had been made worse because she had grabbed water, despite Fitz advising against it, and it made the heat intensify, although how that was possible, Eliza had no clue. This was her first time of eating a full meal that contained the spicy plants, and for some strange reason, which she could not quite comprehend, she was enjoying the tingling burn in her mouth.
